GETTING THERE:

By Car:

Leonidio is well-connected by road, making it easily accessible by car. If you’re traveling from Athens, take the National Road towards Tripoli and then follow the signs to Leonidio. The journey offers scenic views of the Peloponnese landscape.

By Bus:

There are also intercity buses that connect Athens to Leonidio. Bus services are available from Kifissos Bus Terminal in Athens to Leonidio, but it’s essential to check the schedule in advance.

By Air:

The nearest airport is Kalamata International Airport. From there, you can rent a car or take a bus to Leonidio. The drive from Kalamata to Leonidio takes around 2 hours, showcasing the beauty of the Peloponnese region. Otherwise, you can fly to Athens and drive down, which takes around 3 hours.

Explore the Town Center:

Stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets of Leonidio’s town center. Admire the traditional architecture, and don’t forget to visit the local shops offering handmade crafts and products.
